UPCOMING DAG EVENT

Tuesday, March 25th is

Dress a Girl

St Cecilia's

2732 Culver Rd---3-8 pm.

Dinner will be served from 5-6:30pm.

We will start clean-up by 7:30.

We have some new things we will be doing :

  • Learn how to sew and make a DAG dress
  • Bias Tape---we will have Bias Tape machines to use.  We will teach how to cut, sew and put through Bias Tape machine
  • Sewing Machines---we will bring in 3 more sewing machines to enable more people to sew.  These machines have been serviced and are ready to go.
  • Dolls---along with the dolls we have been making...There will be instructions and help making the HUMANITARIAN DOLLS---the cuddly ones wrapped in little blankets.
  • Cutting fabric and pillowcases for dresses
  • Matching pockets and bias tape with cut dresses to make a kit
  • Ironing labels
  • Sizing, Folding and packing dresses

FYI:  When someone makes a dress and doll to match...that is a blessing!  These dolls will not be taken out of the pockets. I will have dresses with dolls packed separately and then dresses without will be packed by themselves.

If anyone has any suggestions, please email me.  Looking forward to seeing you soon...and please bring a friend!

Blessings,
Mary Jo
