DAG World of Service Project!

Dress A Girl Around the World Day of Service Project!

Activity: Come learn how to make a pillowcase dress and “no sew” doll to give to Orphans around the world. 
Volunteer at the following stations: Doll stations, sewing stations, cutting fabric/ pocket stations, ironing station, dress kit making stations.
Dresses and Dolls being made for the OM Hope Ships and BCC Missions trip to Senegal.

Items needed: Donations needed, but not required to attend event: Pillow cases, cotton fabric, wide grosgrain ribbon, double fold extra wide bias tape, yarn, boy’s toddler size T shirts & shorts for Boys In Britches. *Bring a sewing machine if you have one and scissors.*Drop off donated items to the BCC Dress A Girl table display in the foyer from 4/22-5/5.

****NOTES:
-Kitchen help needed*
-Dress kits available for pick up at the BCC DAG table on 4/29 from 9a-12:30p  if you are not able to attend this event.
-Friends, family, neighbors and children 6 and older are welcome to participate in this on going service project! Food provided.
-Dress A Girl of NY (Angels of Mercy) has sent out 25,000 dresses in 20 months!!!
